Uranium Royalty Corp closes $40M private placement with Uranium Energy Corp, boosting stake to 18.4%.

Uranium Royalty Corp (URC) has completed a $40 million private placement of subscription receipts to Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) at $3.64 each. These receipts will convert into URC shares once certain conditions are met, including shareholder approval of a planned arrangement involving Sweetwater Royalties. Following this transaction, UEC's ownership in URC will increase from 12.27% to approximately 18.4%. The funds are held in escrow pending the completion of the arrangement, and UEC may adjust its stake in URC in the future based on business developments.
