Tango Therapeutics and Erasca have started a Phase 1/2 clinical trial testing the combination of oral PRMT5 inhibitor vopimetostat with pan-RAS molecular glue ERAS-0015. The trial targets patients with MTAP-deleted pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and MTAP-deleted/RAS-mutant non-small cell lung cancer. This combination aims to improve treatment efficacy by co-targeting PRMT5 and RAS pathways, potentially offering a new option for difficult-to-treat cancers. The study will evaluate safety, dosage, and anti-tumor activity, with enrollment now open.
