Southwest Airlines launches Independence One tracking and trading cards for America's 250th celebration

Southwest Airlines and FlightAware have partnered to allow customers and aviation fans to track Independence One, a specialty aircraft celebrating America's 250th anniversary, via a custom icon on FlightAware.com through September 9, 2026. The aircraft features a livery with thirteen stars symbolizing the original colonies. Southwest is also releasing "America Trio" trading cards featuring Independence One, Liberty One, and Freedom One, available from pilots starting July 1. Additional celebrations include decorations at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and participation in America's Block Party in New York City on July 4. This initiative highlights Southwest's ongoing commitment to connecting communities and celebrating national milestones.
