Sitka Gold Corp announced strong initial metallurgical test results from its Rhosgobel Gold Deposit in Yukon, showing an average gold recovery of 94.3% using conventional cyanidation leaching and an 84.7% tungsten recovery via flotation. These high recoveries indicate that gold is non-refractory and tungsten could be a valuable by-product, enhancing the project's economic viability. The company is conducting a 60,000-meter drill program in 2026 to expand the deposit, which currently holds an inferred resource of 2.25 million ounces of gold. Continued drilling and testing aim to further define and grow this surface-accessible deposit.
