Sempra Infrastructure inks 20-year LNG supply deal with Petrobras for 0.8 Mtpa from Port Arthur LNG Phase 2.

Sempra Infrastructure has signed a 20-year agreement to supply Petrobras with about 0.8 million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Port Arthur LNG Phase 2 project in Texas, currently under construction. This marks Petrobras as the first South American LNG customer for Sempra, highlighting the company's expanding global LNG footprint. The Port Arthur LNG facility will double its liquefaction capacity to approximately 26 Mtpa once Phase 2 is operational by 2030-2031, enhancing U.S. LNG supply access for international markets. This long-term deal strengthens Sempra's strategic position in the global energy market and supports growing demand for reliable U.S. natural gas.
