SBI Group and Visa have introduced a new Visa credit card in Japan that converts spending points into Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or XRP. The card offers up to 10% crypto rewards for Gold users and 2.5% for standard users during a limited-time campaign running from May 1 to August 5, 2026. Points are automatically converted monthly without exchange fees, requiring users to have an SBI crypto asset account. The cards also include various benefits such as theft protection and, for Gold users, travel insurance and lounge access. This initiative links everyday spending with crypto accumulation, marking a novel approach in Japan's financial market.
