Extended shifts settlement from Starknet to Circle's Arc, converting USDT to USDC and wBTC to cirBTC without fees.

Extended is moving its settlement system from Starknet, an Ethereum Layer 2 solution, to Circle's Arc, a Layer 1 blockchain, starting Oct. 22 at 9 a.m. ET. During this transition, USDT will convert to USDC and Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) to cirBTC at a 1:1 ratio with no swap fees, and Ether (ETH) will convert to wrapped Ether (wETH). Deposits and withdrawals may pause for up to two hours, but transfers between sub-accounts will remain available. This migration aims to enhance liquidity, broaden real-world asset coverage, and support institutional distribution. Users with sub-accounts holding more than $1 in USDT or wBTC had to convert or withdraw before the deadline on Oct. 21.

As of Oct 22, 2026 19:02 WIB, USDT is trading at Rp18.001 on Pluang with a slight 1-day gain of 0.16%, while WBTC is priced at Rp1.469.538.816, down 1.94% over the same period. The transition of these assets to Circle's Arc blockchain may influence trading dynamics, given the current Pluang order activity showing 67% selling for USDT and 86% selling for WBTC. This shift coincides with a typical hold time of 91 days for USDT and 29 days for WBTC on the platform.
