The rollback replaces shard databases to ensure a clean state, as the forged tokens moved quickly through exchanges, pools, and bridges, complicating direct token removal. Harmony is working with exchanges, bridges, and law enforcement to investigate and mitigate the impact, while cautioning that many discarded transactions were automated and may not affect individual users significantly.
