Phase 2 trial shows REC-4881 cuts polyp burden in FAP patients with durable effects and good safety.

Recursion Pharmaceuticals announced positive Phase 2 results for REC-4881, an oral MEK1/2 inhibitor, in treating familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). The TUPELO trial showed a 47% median reduction in total polyp burden after 12 weeks of treatment, with effects sustained 12 weeks post-treatment in 85% of patients. REC-4881 demonstrated activity across the gastrointestinal tract, notably reducing larger, high-risk polyps, and was well tolerated with no new safety concerns. The company plans to start a registrational trial in the second half of 2027, pending FDA discussions, aiming to offer the first pharmacologic therapy for this rare, inherited cancer risk condition.

As of Nov 03, 2026 04:11 WIB, Recursion Pharmaceuticals Inc (RXRX) shares are trading at USD 3.82 on Pluang, down 5.21% for the day. The stock shows strong investor interest with 100% buy orders and a typical hold time of 22 days.
