PowerBank Corporation has completed and started commercial operation of a 7.01 MW DC community solar project in upstate New York, developed for Honeywell as part of a $41 million EPC agreement covering three projects totaling 21 MW DC. The project, built on an industrial brownfield, will provide clean energy to approximately 875 homes annually and operate under the NYSERDA NY-Sun Program, allowing community subscribers to save on electricity bills through solar credits. This is the second of three projects in the portfolio to reach operation, with PowerBank retaining operations and maintenance responsibilities. The project highlights PowerBank's growing role in renewable energy development, especially in community solar and emerging demands like AI infrastructure power needs.
