Phantom, a popular multi-chain crypto wallet, will stop supporting the Monad network on August 26, giving users about a month to move their MON tokens and other Monad assets to alternative wallets like MetaMask or Rabby. The decision comes after roughly nine months of integration since Monad's mainnet launch in November 2025. Users must export their private keys or seed phrases to migrate assets, with Phantom providing in-app notifications to assist. This exit could trigger some selling pressure on MON tokens, though a $30 million buyback program announced by Monad earlier in 2026 might help stabilize the market.
