Nintendo rated Buy on strong software earnings and growth potential in digital and IP ventures.

Nintendo is rated Buy due to its strong recurring software sales and growth opportunities in digital expansion and intellectual property monetization, including films, merchandise, and theme parks. Management projects revenue of ¥2.05 trillion and operating profit of ¥370 billion for fiscal year 2027, with forecasts for further growth in 2028. Despite uncertainties from new console manufacturing costs, the stock trades at a forward P/E of 20x with potential for margin expansion and a fair value estimate of $16 per ADR, above the current $13.22 price.
