Missouri American Water has completed the $34.5 million acquisition of Neosho's water and wastewater systems, serving about 5,400 customers each. The company plans to invest $35 million over the next five years to upgrade infrastructure, replace aging pipes, and improve service reliability and safety. This acquisition includes 25 employees from Neosho and aims to enhance water quality and compliance with federal and state standards. Customers will gain access to improved services and support programs as the transition progresses.
