Metal Energy Corp. has begun its first-ever drilling program at the NIV copper-gold project in British Columbia's Toodoggone district, targeting a large 5 km porphyry system with strong geophysical and geochemical indicators. The project, untested by drilling until now, is backed by strategic shareholders Centerra Gold and Teck Resources, and aims to explore a promising copper-gold-silver-molybdenum anomaly. With $9 million in cash, Metal Energy plans 12 drill holes totaling over 6,000 meters to thoroughly test this large-scale target. This marks a significant step in advancing exploration in a region known for major porphyry deposits.
