Solana staking rewards omit commission rates in metadata, complicating audits but not affecting payouts.

Solana's staking reward records now omit the validator commission rate from outward metadata when a new protocol feature is active, making it harder to audit past payouts. Despite this, the Agave client still uses the commission rate internally to calculate rewards. Auditors must reconstruct historical commission rates from validator history and stake account data to verify payouts accurately. Proposed updates aim to improve transparency by including commission rates and timing in future records, but these are still under discussion and development.

As of Nov 01, 2026 12:31 WIB, Solana (SOL) trades at Rp1.733.823 on Pluang, showing a slight decline of 0.52% in the past day. The platform records a market cap of Rp1.021,32 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of Rp25,49 trillion for SOL. Despite the challenges in auditing staking rewards due to omitted validator commission rates, SOL maintains strong buy interest with 70% of orders on Pluang being purchases.
