The technology is currently active in select countries with plans for wider rollout, including expansion to Instagram Live and Facebook Groups. Meta also expanded stricter "Teen Accounts" settings to 27 countries, enhancing protections for teen users. This move follows legal pressure over child safety concerns on Meta's platforms.
