New Invesco ETF beats JEPI with higher yield, lower fees, and better returns.

Invesco's new equal-weight S&P 500 income ETF (RSPA) offers a higher yield of about 9.1%, lower fees at 0.29%, and better total returns than the popular JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI), which yields around 8.1% with a 0.35% fee. RSPA uses an equal-weight approach and a broad index call overlay, resulting in less concentration risk and more market upside, outperforming JEPI by roughly 7 percentage points over the past year. However, RSPA is newer and untested in bear markets, and both funds distribute mostly ordinary income, affecting after-tax returns. Investors in taxable accounts should consider tax implications before switching, while retirement accounts can switch more easily.
