Bird Construction Inc. has partnered with Marten Falls First Nation to create Piinahzii Limited Partnership, a majority Indigenous-owned entity focused on infrastructure projects within the community and traditional territory. This partnership aims to align project delivery with community priorities, emphasizing local participation, workforce development, and capacity building. It supports both immediate infrastructure needs and long-term development goals, fostering sustainable outcomes and economic opportunities for Marten Falls members and Indigenous businesses. Bird Construction also agreed to issue shares to the Marten Falls development group as part of the collaboration.
