IREN acquires Mirantis to boost AI cloud deployment and support capabilities

IREN Limited has signed an agreement to acquire Mirantis, a cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration provider, for about $625 million in IREN shares. This acquisition aims to enhance IREN's AI Cloud services by improving deployment speed, operational monitoring, customer support, and market reach. Mirantis will continue operating as a standalone subsidiary, supporting its existing clients and IREN's AI cloud growth. The deal is pending regulatory approval and is expected to strengthen IREN's position in delivering scalable AI infrastructure.
