Hut 8 Corp. announced a second 15-year lease for 352 MW of IT capacity at its Beacon Point data center campus in Texas, doubling the existing tenant's contracted capacity to 704 MW. This $9.8 billion lease fully commercializes the 1,000 MW campus, supported by secured utility capacity, and increases the total AI data center portfolio capacity to 949 MW with $26.6 billion in contract value. The lease is with a high-investment-grade tenant and includes renewal options that could raise the campus contract value to $50.2 billion. Initial delivery of the new data hall is expected by Q2 2028, marking a significant milestone in Hut 8's power-first development strategy for AI infrastructure.
