First Phosphate Corp. announced strong assay results from its recent infill drilling campaign at the Bégin-Lamarche project, exceeding the planned 30,000 metres with 40,000 metres drilled. The results revealed high mineralization in the mountain and north zones, with new strong veins identified in the south zone. These findings will support an updated mineral resource estimate and 3D geological model, upgrading resource classifications from inferred and indicated to indicated and measured. The company aims to complete a feasibility study by the end of 2026 and move towards permitting for an open-pit mine targeted for mid-2029.
