General Copper Gold Corp. has entered an option agreement to acquire an 80% interest in a 48,500-hectare exclusive prospecting license in Namibia's Otjozondjupa Region, an area rich in minerals like tin, uranium, gold, and base metals. The company must complete a private placement to raise at least CAD 1.5 million to fund exploration and meet payment obligations under the agreement. This move expands General Copper Gold's exploration portfolio beyond British Columbia, aiming to tap into promising mineral deposits in Namibia. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and successful financing, with a new board member, geologist Percy Clark, joining to support exploration efforts.
