Firedancer bug bounty now requires burning 1 SOL token per submission, including invalid reports.

Firedancer, a Solana validator client, has updated its bug bounty program to require researchers to burn 1 SOL token for every submission, including invalid or duplicate reports. This nonrefundable cost aims to reduce low-quality or repeated submissions. Reports without the burn may be reviewed but won't earn rewards. The program offers doubled payouts until Nov. 20, with some findings earning triple rewards. This change follows a previous contest that charged $100 per submission and limited reports to one per day. Firedancer has secured 15% of Solana's stake since launching on mainnet and plans to respond to valid reports within 96 hours via GitHub Security Advisory.

Solana (SOL) trades at Rp1.826.489 on Pluang as of Oct 25, 2026 04:21 WIB, showing a 2.58% decline in the past day. The platform sees a nearly balanced order activity with 53% selling and 47% buying interest, while typical holders keep SOL for about 71 days. This trading environment provides context for Firedancer's new bug bounty policy requiring a 1 SOL burn per report, which could influence how stakeholders engage with the token.
