FinChain and Plume launched a new onchain strategy allowing users to borrow USD Coin (USDC) against FUSD, a stablecoin backed by tokenized U.S. short-term Treasury securities and money market funds. Borrowed USDC can be invested in liquidity pools, providing an additional yield stream on top of FUSD's own returns. The strategy offers an expected annualized yield of up to 7.2% with a 90% utilization cap. Redemptions settle in two days, while interest payments settle between 14 and 30 days, enabling users to maximize returns by combining FUSD's yield with liquidity pool earnings.
