U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs have experienced 13 consecutive days of outflows, shedding $4.37 billion since mid-May, with total assets dropping from $104.29 billion to $82.83 billion. Ether, Solana, and XRP ETFs have also joined the outflow trend, reversing previous inflows as crypto prices decline. BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC led the redemptions, while Hyperliquid's HYPE ETFs remain the only major crypto ETF category attracting new investments. The sustained outflows are impacting market sentiment, with Citi noting that bitcoin ETF flows significantly influence BTC price movements. Grayscale recently launched a competing Hyperliquid product, HYPG, aiming to capture investor interest during this challenging period for crypto ETFs.
