Abcourt Mines is advancing the ramp-up of its Sleeping Giant mine in Quebec, having started production from its first long-hole stope this month. This new production method is expected to accelerate the mine's ramp-up pace, targeting steady-state production by December 2026 as outlined in its June 2023 Preliminary Economic Assessment. The shift from solely room-and-pillar stopes to including long-hole stopes marks a significant step toward increasing output and operational efficiency at the mine.
