Dunelm launches £100m cost-cutting and store expansion plan to boost sales growth.

Dunelm Group PLC announced a three-year strategy to accelerate sales growth to mid-to-high single digits by cutting £100 million in unproductive costs and investing in store and digital expansion. The plan includes opening up to ten new stores annually and renewing over 50 existing stores by 2028, with increased capital expenditure of around £125 million over three years. The company aims to maintain an adjusted profit margin of about 11% and a return on capital employed near 30%, while expecting 2027 profits to stay in line with 2026 despite growth investments. CEO Clo Moriarty emphasized the strategy's goal to strengthen Dunelm's market-leading position.
