Restored 1943 Boeing Stearman begins Texas tour honoring nearly 100 senior veterans with flights

Dream Flights launched the Spirit of Texas, a restored 1943 Boeing Stearman biplane, on a nine-city Texas tour starting May 6, 2026. The aircraft, rebuilt over 10,000 hours, honors nearly 100 senior veterans from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam with open-cockpit flights at no cost. The tour spans cities including Georgetown, Fort Worth, and San Antonio, concluding June 9. This initiative continues Dream Flights' mission to provide life-changing flight experiences to veterans, with plans for a national tour later in 2026.
