Hedera's banking integrations grow but HBAR token demand remains weak despite infrastructure use.

Hedera is expanding its banking integrations, including a platform serving over 40 banks with HBAR custody and staking options. However, despite these developments, daily network fees collected remain very low, indicating weak demand for the HBAR token itself. The token's price mechanism, where fees are dollar-denominated but paid in HBAR, means rising transactions don't necessarily increase token demand. While Hedera's tech is gaining interest, especially with connections to Swift and UK tokenization projects, no confirmed large-scale token use or product launches by banks have been reported yet, leaving HBAR's demand growth uncertain.

HBAR's market cap stands at Rp56.44 trillion as of Nov 03, 2026 21:32 WIB, with a 24-hour trading volume of Rp754.56 million on Pluang. Despite the banking sector's growing interest in Hedera's technology, the token's price on Pluang is Rp1,273, down 0.94% in the last day, and the platform shows a higher sell order activity at 67%. The circulating supply is 44.3 billion HBAR out of a total 50 billion, indicating most tokens are already in circulation.
