Ex-Meta AI director launches Ndoc, an AI-native workspace aiming to replace Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Rohit Patel, former AI director at Meta, has left to start Ndoc, a startup creating an AI-native workspace designed to unify tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint into one platform. Ndoc integrates presentations, narratives, and data models in a single interface, allowing users to verify AI-generated work through accessible Python scripts. The platform aims to reduce costs by using open-source AI models and plans to open source its unique document format to encourage wider adoption. Currently in enterprise pilot and limited alpha release, Ndoc targets a full launch next year, competing with major AI labs but focusing on replacing entire workflows rather than just adding AI features to existing tools.

Meta shares trade at USD 624.41, down 0.98% as of Oct 27, 2026 22:14 WIB on Pluang. Microsoft is slightly up 0.06% to USD 532.92, with a market cap of $3.95T. Pluang users show a balanced buy-sell interest in both stocks, reflecting steady investor attention amid leadership changes.
