Derive shifts to Ethereum-based custody and settlement using Celestia for scalable state data handling.

Derive has integrated Celestia since January 2024 to publish state data for its V3 exchange, which launched on October 7. The new system uses Ethereum contracts for collateral, offchain order matching, and zero-knowledge virtual machine settlement, with Ethereum verifying proofs and Celestia carrying state data. This design offers scalability, economic predictability, and a fallback to Ethereum Layer 1 if needed. Derive's CTO highlighted the ease of integrating Celestia and the benefits it brings to their infrastructure.

Derive's integration of Celestia is noted alongside Pluang's market snapshot as of Oct 24, 2026 11:21 WIB: out of 50 major cryptocurrencies priced on Pluang, 10 rose and 39 fell. Among notable movers, EOS gained 8.13% to Rp12.649 with a typical hold time of 87 days, while DOT dropped 7.79% to Rp19.671 with a near-even buy/sell split, and SAND fell 7.45% to Rp914 with 60% sell activity.
