Cross River and Offchain Labs are collaborating on a platform to issue, finance, hold, and transfer loan assets on Arbitrum One. The platform will use a shared ledger to record ownership, loan disbursements, repayments, and servicing throughout the asset's life. Offchain Labs' ZeroDev wallet infrastructure will support the platform, while borrowers will experience no change in their process. Cross River will continue as the regulated bank overseeing loan registration, underwriting, risk management, and compliance. The project has completed a proof of concept and aims for production deployment by early 2027.
