Chord Energy raises 2026 oil volume and cash flow forecasts after strong Q3 results and operational gains.

Chord Energy reported better-than-expected Q3 2026 results, with oil production exceeding guidance and adjusted free cash flow rising by $200 million for the full year. The company increased its 2026 oil volume forecast by about 1% to 162.5 MBopd and expects adjusted free cash flow of $1.6 billion. Operational improvements, including successful 4-mile well completions and marketing optimizations, drove cost savings and production above initial plans. Chord also announced the pending sale of its Marcellus assets for $550 million, expected to close in Q4 2026, positioning the company for continued efficiency and shareholder returns.

Chord Energy's 2026 outlook update comes as a backdrop to the US energy sector's performance on Pluang, where only 6 of 79 priced stocks rose today. As of Nov 05, 2026 03:41 WIB, notable movers include NXT (Nextpower Inc.) with a 1-day change of +11.25% and Pluang order activity skewed 56% Sell / 44% Buy, LBRT (Liberty Energy Inc. Class A) down 11.44%, and MPC (Marathon Petroleum Corp) down 9.85% with 76% Sell orders. This snapshot reflects a broadly declining energy sector on the platform.
