Chipotle opens first restaurant in Saudi Arabia, expanding its Middle East presence with Alshaya Group.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is launching its first restaurant in Saudi Arabia this month at Sidra in Riyadh, partnering with Alshaya Group. This marks a key step in Chipotle's international growth, expanding its footprint in the Middle East where it already operates 16 restaurants across UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar. The Riyadh location will offer Chipotle's signature customizable menu made with responsibly sourced ingredients. The company plans to continue global expansion with 350-370 new restaurants in 2026, aiming for 7,000 locations in the US and Canada.
