
Bob Iger, former CEO of The Walt Disney Company, is being inducted as a Disney Legend for his transformative impact on the company. Starting his career at ABC in 1974, Iger rose through the ranks and led Disney through major acquisitions including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox, reshaping Disney's media presence. He also launched Disney+, which became profitable in 2024, and expanded Disney's theme parks globally with new resorts in Shanghai and Abu Dhabi. Under his leadership, Disney's Experiences segment grew significantly, generating record revenues and setting a strong foundation for current CEO Josh D’Amaro to continue growth.
