The new network will use BNB for gas fees, staking, and governance, connected to BSC via a native bridge. It aims to produce blocks every 200 milliseconds and pre-confirm transactions in about 20 milliseconds, enhancing speed for certain transactions. A public testnet is expected by the end of 2026, with a mainnet launch targeted for early 2027, supporting existing Solidity contracts but excluding some Ethereum features.
