Bitcoin's BIP-54 proposal aims to fix four consensus bugs in a potential next soft fork.

Bitcoin's proposed upgrade, BIP-54, targets four long-standing bugs in its consensus rules through a backward-compatible soft fork. These fixes address a time-warp exploit in difficulty adjustment, slow-to-validate "poison" blocks, vulnerabilities in the Merkle tree, and risks from duplicate coinbase transactions. The proposal, six years in the making, is currently being tested and has miner support, signaling readiness for activation. While it doesn't add new features or impact Bitcoin's economics, BIP-54 strengthens network security and may pave the way for future upgrades.

Bitcoin continues to show strong interest among Pluang users, with a price of Rp1.460.602.582 and a 3.27% gain over the past day. The market cap stands at Rp29.368,17 trillion, and buyers dominate order activity at 69%. These figures reflect active participation as of Nov 05, 2026 06:01 WIB.
