Bitcoin leads repeat crypto purchases, doubling Ethereum and stablecoins combined in second buys.

Data from crypto exchange Paybis shows Bitcoin remains the top choice for returning retail buyers, accounting for 42.67% of second transactions between 2023 and 2026. This share is nearly double that of Ethereum and stablecoins combined, which together represent 22.65%. Despite market volatility, Bitcoin's share of repeat purchases stayed stable, indicating strong ongoing retail demand. Meanwhile, stablecoins see fewer repeat buys as they are often used for single transactions, highlighting different usage patterns. The findings suggest Bitcoin's retail appeal goes beyond first-time buyers, maintaining dominance in repeat purchases over three years.
