Investors pull $643M from US Bitcoin ETFs after $6.3B Binance hack rattles market

On October 30, investors withdrew $643.33 million from US spot Bitcoin ETFs, breaking a four-day inflow streak. This outflow followed a massive $6.3 billion hack on Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange, which occurred a day earlier. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust saw the largest exit with $234 million withdrawn. The hack, linked to a North Korean group, is four times larger than the previous record Bybit hack. Binance has frozen $2.7 billion of the stolen assets and suspended deposits and withdrawals. Bitcoin prices fell 1.7% amid these events, with October showing a 7.3% decline so far, marking back-to-back losing Octobers for the first time since 2011-2012.

Binance Coin (BNB) maintains a strong market cap of Rp1.677,91 trillion and a 24-hour trading volume of Rp27,49 trillion as of October 31, 2026, 19:21 WIB, despite the recent Binance hack. On Pluang, BNB's price is Rp12.781.568 with a modest 0.65% gain in the last day, showing resilience after the security breach. The typical hold time for BNB investors on Pluang is 90 days, with a buying activity of 63%, indicating continued investor interest.
