Franklin Templeton gets Nasdaq approval for two Bitcoin ETFs blending US stocks and Bitcoin dividends.

Franklin Templeton, managing $1.8 trillion in assets, received Nasdaq approval to launch two Bitcoin-focused ETFs that convert dividends from U.S. stocks into Bitcoin exposure. The ETFs, named Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF and Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF, will allocate 95% to U.S. equities and 5% to Bitcoin-related assets, using stock dividends to buy more Bitcoin rather than reinvesting in stocks. This approach integrates cryptocurrency exposure into traditional equity investments, marking an expansion of Franklin Templeton's presence in the crypto sector beyond its existing Bitcoin ETF product. These ETFs follow indexes created by VettaFi, targeting large-cap and innovation stocks respectively.

Bitcoin trades at Rp1.475.973.811 on Pluang as of Oct 24, 2026 00:22 WIB, showing a 0.91% gain in the last day. The introduction of Franklin Templeton's Bitcoin-focused ETFs adds a new layer of traditional equity exposure combined with cryptocurrency, which may influence investor interest in Bitcoin and related assets. On Pluang, Bitcoin's market cap stands at Rp29.732,24 trillion with a 64% buy order activity, indicating steady demand amid evolving investment products.
