Baidu upgrades its Hong Kong listing to primary, becoming dual-primary listed with Nasdaq from Sept 1, 2026.

Baidu announced that its voluntary conversion from a secondary to a primary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will take effect on September 1, 2026. This change makes Baidu a dual-primary listed company on both the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Global Select Market in the U.S. The conversion involves no new share issuance or fundraising. Baidu will comply with all relevant Hong Kong Listing Rules for dual-primary listed issuers and has already adjusted its corporate governance accordingly. This move strengthens Baidu's presence in both markets and aligns with regulatory requirements for dual listings.
