AT&T has replaced its old unlimited phone plans with new 2.0 versions offering more data and features at generally lower prices, despite a recent price hike on legacy plans. The new lineup includes four tiers: Value 2.0, Extra 2.0, Premium 2.0, and a new Elite 2.0 plan aimed at premium users, featuring higher data caps, faster speeds, and expanded international options. Customers can mix plans per line and must pay an activation fee to switch. While the new plans improve value and clarity, they lack bundled streaming perks offered by competitors. Existing customers are not automatically moved to new plans but should consider switching if they need more high-speed data or better features.
