1inch blocks Binance theft-linked addresses but can't freeze stolen tokens

After a theft involving Binance, 1inch quickly blocked addresses linked to the stolen assets from its decentralized app, wallet, and API within an hour. However, because 1INCH tokens follow the ERC-20 standard without freeze or blacklist functions, the stolen tokens themselves cannot be frozen or stopped from moving on the blockchain. 1inch's risk management team is actively identifying and sharing suspicious addresses with partners, and the company has offered support to Binance. Blocking access to 1inch services restricts use of the platform but does not remove or immobilize the stolen tokens on the network.

1INCH tokens are priced at Rp1.423 on Pluang, down 10.16% in the last day as of Oct 30, 2026 12:31 WIB. The market cap stands at Rp2,02 trillion with a 24-hour volume of Rp304,18 million. Binance Coin (BNB) also fell 5.10%, trading at Rp13.054.646, showing notable sell activity at 63%.
