What Is the Difference Between Accrued Rewards and Disbursed Rewards?

Accrued Rewards and Disbursed Rewards are two figures on your Pluang staking dashboard that track the same staking rewards at different stages of their journey. Accrued Rewards is the running total you have earned since the last distribution but have not yet been paid — it grows a little each day as your staked coins keep working, then resets to zero after each weekly payout. Disbursed Rewards is the cumulative total of every reward already paid into your crypto wallet across all past distributions, so it only ever goes up. In short, accrued means "earned but still waiting", while disbursed means "already received and spendable". Rewards accrue daily and are distributed every Tuesday; on that day the amount sitting in Accrued Rewards moves into your wallet and is added to your lifetime Disbursed Rewards. Both figures are denominated in the same coin you staked, so you always read them in ETH, SOL, or ATOM rather than in rupiah.

  • Accrued Rewards is "in progress" income. It is the reward you have earned this cycle — since the last Tuesday distribution — but that has not been paid out yet. It grows each day the accrual runs and is not part of your spendable wallet balance until the next distribution moves it there.
  • Disbursed Rewards is your lifetime paid-out total. It sums every reward that has already been credited to your crypto wallet across all previous distributions for that coin. It only increases over time and represents rewards that are now fully yours to trade, withdraw, or re-stake.
  • Both figures are shown net of tax. The amounts reflect the net reward after the applicable deductions (TDS 5% + VAT 0.11%) required under prevailing regulation. The gross reward is calculated first, tax is deducted, and the net is what accumulates and is later disbursed.
  • Everything stays in the coin you staked. Accrued and Disbursed Rewards are both denominated and paid in the original asset — ETH staking pays ETH, SOL staking pays SOL — rather than being converted to IDR at any point.
  • The two are linked by the weekly payout. Each Tuesday, the balance in Accrued Rewards is transferred to your wallet, Accrued Rewards resets to zero, and Disbursed Rewards rises by that same amount. Watching both over a few cycles shows the full earn-then-pay rhythm.
  • Unstaking does not erase accrued rewards. Rewards accrued up to the day of an unstaking request are preserved, paid on the next Tuesday, and then join your Disbursed Rewards total — you do not lose earned rewards simply by unstaking.

Related questions:

Q: Does the Accrued Rewards figure include tax deductions?
Yes. The figure shown in the app is the net amount, calculated after the applicable tax deductions (TDS 5% + VAT 0.11%) under prevailing regulation. Pluang works out the gross reward first, subtracts the tax, and only the resulting net figure accumulates in Accrued Rewards. Because of this, the amount you eventually receive on the Tuesday distribution matches the net Accrued Rewards figure rather than a larger gross number.

Q: What happens to Accrued Rewards if I unstake before Tuesday?
They are not forfeited. Every reward accrued up to and including the day of your unstaking request is preserved and paid on the next Tuesday distribution, exactly like a normal payout. Unstaking simply stops future accrual from the following day; it does not claw back what you have already earned. After that payout, the amount moves into your Disbursed Rewards lifetime total.

Q: Can I see a breakdown of daily accruals?
Check the staking section in the Pluang app, which shows your reward history and current dashboard figures. There you can follow how Accrued Rewards has grown since the last distribution and review past Disbursed Rewards entries. Exact history views can change as the app updates, so the staking dashboard in the app is always the authoritative place to look for your live and historical reward figures.

Q: Is Disbursed Rewards the same as total lifetime earnings?
Yes. Disbursed Rewards is the cumulative total of all staking rewards you have ever received from Pluang for that coin — every past Tuesday payout added together. It does not include rewards that are still accruing this cycle, which sit separately under Accrued Rewards until the next distribution transfers them to your wallet and adds them to the disbursed total.

Q: Why did my Accrued Rewards reset to zero?
Because a distribution just happened. Every Tuesday, Pluang pays the accrued balance into your crypto wallet, so Accrued Rewards resets to zero and immediately begins building again from the next daily accrual. The amount that was cleared has not disappeared — it moved into your spendable wallet balance and was added to your lifetime Disbursed Rewards, so a reset is the normal sign of a successful payout.
