When will my dividends be distributed?

To see the dividend distribution date for the current and previous periods of an asset, you can see it in the “Corporate Actions” section on the asset page.

Here is an example of a “Corporate Actions” section:

The schedule for dividend distribution for each stock is different, depending on the cum date policy of each company. Generally, dividends are distributed one day after the payable date, but it is also possible that dividends can be received later, up to D+7.

If you have not received the dividend after the D+7 payable date, you can send an email to tanya@pluang.com and the Pluang team will help you to check further.

For additional information, here are the terms in dividend distribution:

  • Cum date or cumulative date, is the date that determines whether an investor is entitled to receive dividends or not. If an investor owns a number of shares of the company at the cum date, then the investor is entitled to receive dividends.
  • Ex date or ex-dividend date is the period in which if an investor buys the stock, the investor is no longer entitled to receive dividends. So if you want to receive dividends, the investor must have owned the company's shares before the ex date.
  • Rec date or recording date is the recording date on which the company records which shareholders are entitled to receive dividends.
  • Pay date or payment date is the date the company pays dividends to eligible shareholders. You will receive dividends H+7 after the official payment date by the company, and it may take longer for stocks from companies outside the United States.

Please note that these dates follow the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) which is 12 hours slower than WIB, or 11 hours during Daylight Saving Time.
