What are the order validity periods for Indonesian stocks on Pluang?
Pluang currently offers two order validity types for Indonesian stock orders: Session and Day. A Session order is valid for one trading session only (Session I or Session II). A Day order is valid for the full trading day and expires when the market closes. GTC (Good Till Cancelled) orders — which remain active across multiple days — are not currently available on Pluang.
Order validity types on Pluang
| Validity Type | Duration | What Happens When It Expires |
|---|---|---|
| Session | One trading session (Session I: 09:00–12:00 or Session II: 13:30–15:49 Mon–Thu; adjusted on Fri) | Order is automatically cancelled at the end of that session; funds returned to RDN |
| Day | Full trading day (until market close at 15:49 WIB) | Order is automatically cancelled at end of day; funds returned to RDN |
| GTC (Good Till Cancelled) | ❌ Not currently available | — |
What this means for your orders
- If you place a Session order during Session I and it isn't filled by 12:00, it expires automatically — you'd need to re-enter it for Session II if you still want to trade
- If you place a Day order, it remains active for the entire trading day across both sessions, giving your limit order more time to be matched
- Expired orders do not incur any fee — any funds held for a buy order are immediately returned to your RDN
