What is Margin Ratio, and how does it affect Crypto Futures transactions?

Margin Ratio is a measure of the adequacy of the margin ratio of a user's account, which determines when a margin call warning or liquidation action is taken.

The Margin Ratio is calculated based on Total Maintenance Margin / (Available Margin + Total Maintenance Margin).

• 50%: Initial Margin Call (first margin call). You will receive the first margin call notification if your margin ratio increases to 50%.

Here is the notification you will receive when your margin ratio rises to 50%:

• 75%: Final Margin Call, can only close the position.

Here is the notification you will receive when your margin ratio rises to 75%:

• 100%: Liquidation occurs, and all open positions are transferred to the Clearing Liquidation Account and the margin wallet balance becomes zero. The trader gets nothing back.
