Why does the leverage on my open position change when I want to open a new position even though I haven't placed an order yet?

The system changes the leverage on previously open positions to check whether your margin is sufficient. Therefore, even if you haven't placed an order yet, the display of your previously open positions will immediately adjust the position's leverage to reflect your new selection.
