PT Intanwijaya International Tbk (the Company) formerly named as PT Intan Wijaya Chemical Industry Tbk, was established in Jakarta based on the Notarial Deed No. 64 of Jony Frederik Berthold Tumbelaka Sinjal, S.H., dated November 14, 1981.The company's business field in in the Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin Industries with the capacity of 96.000 metrics tons per annum in the form of liquid and 7.000 metric tons per annum in the form of powder and Hexamine 6.000 metric tons per annum.

About Smart Tbk.

The Company began its business under the name of PT Maskapai Perkebunan Sumcama Padang Halaban in 1962. In 1970, the Company was returned to the foreign party and converted its status to PMA (Foreign Capital Investment). Further in 1985, the status of the Company was converted to PMDN (Domestic Capital Investment). The Company then in 1991 changed its name to PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Corporation or abbreviated PT SMART Corporation. In 1989, the Company acquired 100% shares of 2 oil palm plantations, PT Maskapai Perkebunan Leidong West Indonesia and PT Perusahaan Perkebunan Panigoran. The Comapany the also acquired 100% shares of PT Maskapai Perkebunan Indorub Sumber Wadung, tea plantation. In 1991, the Company took over 100% shares of PT Nirmala Agung; tea plantation, PT PT Global Agronusa Indonesia; banana plantation, PT Mulyorejo Industrial Company; a producer of cooking oil, margarine and shortening, and acquired a 25% stake in PT Grahamas Indojaya; transportation company. Prior to the public offering in 1992, the Company took over 100% shares of PT Kunci Mas Wijaya, 49% shares of PT Inti Gerakmaju; hybrid coconut and an oil palm plantation, and a 49% shares of PT Tapian Nadenggan; an oil palm plantation. The Company then acquired 50% shares of PT Sinar Meadow International Indonesia; producer of cooking oil, margarine and shortening, and PT Sinar Pure Foods International; a tuna canning operation. In 1993, the Company took over two oil palm plantation, PT Kresna Duta Agroindo which ia located in Jambiand PT Pilinti Perkasa Alam then changed its name to PT Ivo Mas Exim, which is located in Riau.
