About Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.

PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk was established on March 25,1953 as NV Pabrik Semen Gresik. On April 17, 1961,NV Pabrik Semen Gresik was transformed into a state enterprise (Persero) by Government Regulation No. 132 year 1961, and subsequently became PT Semen Gresik (Persero). Semen Gresik is a cement producer which was formerly fully owned by the government. On July 1995 the company shareholders meeting agreed to acquired 100% share of two state owned cement producer companies, namely PT. Semen Tonasa and PT. Semen Padang.
